From May 2th to 4th, Beijing Yanqing Global Geopark had a 3-day investigation to Nanyang Funiushan Global Geopark for learning and exchanging the construction and development of global geoparks. Representatives from Nanyang Funiushan Global Geopark Administration Bureau, Neixiang County Geopark Management Office and Xixia County Geopark Management Office participated in it.

    During the period, Beijing Yanqing Global Geopark visited the Local Magistrate’s Office in Neixiang county, the natural reserves such as Baotianman National Natural Reserve in Neixiang county, Laojieling Natural Reserve in Xixia county and Nanyang Dinosaur Egg Fossil Cluster Natural Reserve. At the following exchanging forum, the two sides exchanged experience on geopark construction and learned from each other on ten categories such as the management structure of global geoparks, the heritage conservation, the science education activities, the communication and cooperation among parks, the regional economic development, the strategic partnership, the infrastructure construction, the publicity of geoparks, the product development about geoparks, and the network participation. It was also emphasized the classification, the monitoring management and the conversation of the fossil heritages. In addition, the subjects such as how to promote the brand of Global Geopark, how to improve the regional economy, how to increase the geo-tourism, how to integrate tourism resources and coordinate the tourism brands were also discussed deeply.
