The popular science training camp of Funiushan Global Geopark opened ceremoniously on October 13. Representatives from Nanyang Land and Resources Bureau, Luoyang Land and Resources Bureau, the Management Office of Funiushan Global Geopark, the Management Offices of Xixia county, Neixing county, Luanchuan county and Songshan county geopark sites, as well as Laojieling, Baotianman, Laojunshan, Baiyunshan and other scenic spots all attended the activity, which would last from October 13th to October 17th, 5 days in total. 21 volunteers from all over the country, members of Geoparker, organized this event. They would travel every typical scenic spots in Funiushan Global Geopark, experiencing the splendidness and magnificence of Fniushan geopark. Being an important part of the reapplication and the third revalidation of the geopark, this event aims to better promote Funiushan Global Geopark and publicize the conservation concept of the geopark.
