April 22 is the 48th Earth Day. China University of Geosciences(Beijing) organized the 11th Earth science and culture week activities with the theme of”My Stories about Earth”. Staff from Nayang Funiushan Global Geopark actively assisted and engaged in the activities responsible by Geopark expert Dr.Xu Kejian.

        In forms of answering random questions and awarding poplar science books on geoparks and special souvenirs as prizes, the “Guiding You to the Geopark”activity enabled participants to learn more about geoparks and Funiushan Global Geopark. Many participating college students, teachers, parents as well as foreign students read the popular science books, discussed and answered questions, which made the event extremely lively. Volunteers distributed prizes and leaflets while they were interpreting the introduction of Funiushan Glopark on billboards. Interested by the the popular science books and leaflets, participants eagerly expressed their admiration for Funiushan Mountain. And they all promised that they would actively conserve environment and live a green lift to response to the initiative of energy conservation and emission reduction. Being one of the activities of the 11th Earth Science and Culture Week, this event makes great difference on the promotion of Funiushan Global Geopark.
