On March 13th, the Service Center of Songxian Area of Funiushan Global Geopark, in conjunction with the County Forestry Bureau, the County People's Procuratorate, and the County People's Court, organized and carried out activities for the protection of ancient and famous trees and geological science education at the Luoma Square in the urban area and Xiasicun Village, Baihe Town. The aim is to further enhance the community residents' understanding of the ancient and famous trees in the Geopark, as well as their awareness of the recognition and geoconservation.

At the event site, the staff, through various forms such as hanging banners, distributing promotional materials and convenient handbags for the public, and on-site explanations, introduced in detail to the community residents the precious natural resource heritage, rich cultural landscapes, and diverse folk customs of the Songxian Area. These carefully planned publicity methods not only attracted the extensive attention of the community residents but also strengthened the communication with them.

The atmosphere at the event site was enthusiastic. The community residents participated with great enthusiasm. They frequently stopped to watch the publicity content and took the initiative to inquire about the situation of the Geopark, showing a strong interest in and high attention to the development and construction of the Geopark. A total of more than 1,000 various promotional brochures and over 500 convenient promotional handbags were distributed during this event, effectively improving the community residents' understanding of the Songxian Area of Funiushan Global Geopark and further stimulating everyone's enthusiasm and initiative to participate in the conservation and construction of the Geopark.

The successful holding of this science education and publicity activity not only enhanced the community residents' awareness of protecting various natural resources in the Geopark but also laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development and promotion of the Songxian Area of Funiushan Global Geopark. In the next step, the Songxian Area will continue to innovate in publicity forms and increase the intensity of publicity, so that more people can learn about Funiushan and participate in the development and construction of the Geopark and the conservation of natural resources.
