March 8th is International  Women's Day, and Funiushan Global Geopark carried out a series of meaningful activities dedicated to improving the status of women.

In the morning, a field ability training specifically for female staff members kicked off. The training content was rich and practical. It covered detailed explanations of various aspects of knowledge, starting from the preparations before fieldwork, such as the correct use and selection of equipment, to the skills for dealing with various challenges of the natural environment in the wild, like walking in complex terrains and handling emergency situations. The female staff members were all absorbed in their studies, showing a strong eagerness for knowledge and skills. This training activity not only enhanced the abilities of female staff members in fieldwork but also reflected Funiushan Global Geopark's emphasis on the career development of female employees.

In the afternoon, the Geopark organized all female staff members to visit the city museum. In the museum, everyone was immersed in a wealth of historical and cultural exhibits and geological specimens. During the visit, the female staff members exchanged their feelings and insights with each other, gained an in-depth understanding of the development process of nature and humanity, and while wandering in the ocean of knowledge, they also strengthened the cohesion among themselves.

Through the combination of enhancing capabilities and cultural edification, this activity has created a favorable atmosphere within Funiushan  Global Geopark that respects women and attaches importance to their development. It has inspired female staff members to devote themselves to various tasks of the Geopark with greater enthusiasm and contribute more feminine strength to the development of the Geopark.
