The third online science popularization volunteer lecture of "Looking for Ancient overlords through Time and Space" in Nanyang Nature Reserve was successfully held

On November 10, Nie Kai Ning, a science popularization volunteer of Nanyang Funiushan Geopark Conservation and Development Center, held the third online science popularization volunteer lecture of Nanyang Nature Reserve with the theme of "Looking for ancient overlord through Time and space". More than 150 students from Shuibuya Primary and Secondary School in Badong County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, and Badong Changling Primary and Secondary School, introduced the source, category and value of dinosaur fossils in Nanyang, the hometown of dinosaurs, the dinosaur (egg) resources in Nanyang Dinosaur Reserve, and the current situation of science popularization.
As a member of the research branch of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Nie is a paleontology major who is already very interested in dinosaurs and other fossils. In the lecture, Mr. Nie combined the age and knowledge of the sixth grade students of Shuibuya Primary and Secondary School in Badong County, starting with the ancient celebrity Zhuge Liang, led to the location of the protected area, and then introduced the details of dinosaur egg fossils and Funiushan Global Geopark.
This lecture is in the form of on-site explanation of the class + online lecture from other schools. The combination mode of online + offline, on-campus + off-campus is the innovation of the theme activity of "Nanyang Nature Reserve Online Science Popularization Lecture", which breaks the limitation of time and space, allowing lecturers and students to interact together at the same time.
