While attending the 7th UNESCO International Training Course on the Management and Development of Global Geoparks, Funiushan Global Geopark held discussions and exchanges with Alashan Desert Global Geopark, Qinling Zhongnanshan Global Geopark, Dunhuang Global Geopark and Yanqing Global Geopark on October 11 and 13, respectively. At the forum, the sister parks introduced the basic situation respectively, and discussed the future cooperation and exchanges in geological heritage protection, science popularization and education, park management, tourism promotion, information construction and other aspects.

   Wang Qinghe, director of Funiushan Geopark Protection and Development Center, said that exchanges and cooperation between sister parks can not only enhance the friendship between geoparks, but also promote the development and protection of geoparks. Funiushan Global Geopark will earnestly learn from the advanced experience of its sister parks and constantly improve the capacity building of the park.
