From July 2 to 5, the Alashan Desert Global Geopark delegation visited Funiushan Global Geopark, accompanied by Yang Guang, member of the Party Group and deputy director of the Nanyang Municipal Forestry Bureau.

Along the mid-term evaluation route of Funiushan Global Geopark, the delegation visited Neixiang Park, Xixia Park and Luanchuan Park, and learned about the practices and experiences of Funiushan World Park in park construction and management, park visibility, publicity and promotion in detail.

The two sides discussed how to implement the concept of "clear waters and lush mountains are gold and silver mountains" under the new situation, and how to protect, restore and sustainably utilize natural geological relics based on their unique natural geological heritage endowments. Coordinate the relationship between geological heritage protection, scientific research and tourism development; In-depth exchanges were carried out on building geoparks into "green Spaces" shared by all people and as display Windows for ecological civilization construction.

This visit is the first return visit of the Alxa Desert Global Geopark after the signing of the sister park by the two sides, which strengthens the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in the protection of geological relics and tourism promotion, and enhances the relationship between the sister parks.
