On June 26, Nanyang Funiushan Geopark Administration Bureau organized the special survey results of Nanyang Dinosaur Egg Group National Nature Reserve and invited experts such as Henan Provincial Geological Tourism Development Promotion Association, Henan Natural History Museum, Henan Provincial Spatial Survey and Planning Institute, and Nanyang Normal University to accept the special survey results.

The participating experts listened carefully to the work report of the project undertaking unit, and reviewed the relevant maps, reports and survey data. After research and discussion, it is believed that the project has completed the contents stipulated in the contract, the project is well organized and managed, the results provided are complete, detailed and accurate, and meet the relevant requirements.

The special investigation is one of the tasks of the 2022 central finance National Nature reserve subsidy project applied by Nanyang Funiushan Geopark Administration Bureau, which is mainly carried out in Neixiang County and Zhenping County. 50,000 regional geological special survey, dinosaur egg and other fossil stratigraphic profile survey, dinosaur egg and other fossil abundance survey, and collected Xichuan County 2021 Central finance National Nature reserve project and Xixia County 2022 central finance National Nature reserve project related survey results, and the survey results are collected. Thus forming the whole Nanyang dinosaur egg group related survey results.

The investigation results are conducive to understanding the distribution law, distribution state and relationship with natural ecology of dinosaur eggs and other main protected objects in the reserve, improving the conservation and management efficiency of the whole nature reserve, improving and optimizing the conservation and management layout of Nanyang Dinosaur Egg Group National Nature Reserve, and promoting its sustainable and healthy development.
