From May 22 to 24, the Funiushan Global Geopark delegation went to Zhongnan Mountain Global Geopark of Qinling Mountains for investigation and exchange study.

Qinling Zhongnanshan Global Geopark and Funiushan Global Geopark are both geoparks featuring the geological relics of Qinling orogenic belt. In 2019, Zhongnanshann Global Geopark of Qinling Mountains visited Funiushan Global Geopark for investigation and exchange, and the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the development, construction and protection of the geopark. During the return visit, the delegation visited Cuihuashan Landslide Landscape Park and Qinling Zhongnanshan World Geopark Museum, and discussed and studied the construction of infrastructure, museum construction and geological heritage signs in the park.At the symposium, the two sides introduced the basic situation of the park's personnel and institutions, conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the park's management and operation forms, science and technology research, cultural and creative products, tourism promotion, re-evaluation experience and other aspects, and signed a sister park agreement, formally concluding a friendly cooperation partner.

Through this inspection and exchange, the delegation said that it is necessary to learn from the advanced work experience of Zhongnanshan Global Geopark of Qinling Mountains, first, it is necessary to strengthen the development of cultural and creative products, integrate the characteristics of the park, and improve the display degree of the geopark. Second, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation with universities and research institutes, further improve scientific research and popularization capabilities, and promote the high-quality development of Nanyang natural protected area.
