In order to do a good job in the re-evaluation of global geoparks, learn the advanced experience of domestic global geoparks. From March 28 to 29, 2024, the Funiushan Global Geopark delegation went to Huanggang Dabie Mountain Global Geopark to carry out investigation and exchange activities.

Visit the Dabie Mountain Geological Museum

Huanggang Dabie Mountain Global Geopark was approved to become a member of the Global Geopark Network in 2018, and signed a sister park with Funiu Mountain Global Geopark in 2020. This visit is the first return visit since the two parks became sister parks. The delegation visited the Dabie Mountain Geological Museum and Luotian Park, and held discussions on the construction and development of the global geopark under the new situation, the re-evaluation of the park, and the protection of geological relics. Through exchanges and tests, Funiushan and Huanggang Dabie Mountain also said that both sides are geoparks formed because of the central orogenic belt, to form a consensus, further strengthen cooperation, and improve the gold content of the world's geoparks.
