From May 20 to 21, the Funiushan Global Geopark delegation went to Alashan Desert Global Geopark for inspection and exchange.

This time, we mainly inspected the Badain Jilin Park, Tengger Park and Helanshan National Nature Reserve of the Alashan Desert Global Geopark, and carried out discussions and exchanges. At the forum, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on park construction and management, science popularization and education, and basic geological survey, signed a sister park agreement, and formally concluded as friendly and cooperative partners. Alashan Desert Global Geopark has made great achievements in the fields of joint discussion and construction of various parks, mutual publicity and promotion of sister parks, basic geological relic survey and so on. Through this inspection and exchange, the delegation unanimously expressed that it is necessary to conscientiously learn from the advanced work experience of the Alashan Desert Global Geopark: first, it is necessary to find out the family background, comprehensively carry out the investigation of geological relics, and promote the effective protection of geological relics. Second, we should give full play to the role of sister parks, strengthen exchanges, publicize and promote each other, and jointly promote the "gold-lettered signboard" of the Global Geopark. Third, it is necessary to further strengthen the joint discussion and construction work of tourism enterprises, village communities and other partners in various parks, so as to turn Funiushan Global Geopark, an international brand, into the engine of tourism development and promote rural revitalization.
