From May 18 to 19, a delegation from Funiushan Global Geopark went to Zhangye Global Geopark for inspection and exchange.

A group of people successively visited the Zhangye Global Geopark and carried out on-the-spot research and study on the establishment of monument signs and infrastructure construction. The two sides held discussions and exchanges on the protection of geological relics, China evaluation and inspection, project striving, and popular science research, signed a "sister park" agreement, and formally established friendly and cooperative relations. Zhangye Global Geopark has made great achievements in the legislation on the protection of relics, and issued the regulations on the Protection of colorful Danxia in Zhangye National Geopark. We should strengthen the protection of colorful Danxia by restricting the activities such as protection management, scientific research, teaching practice, tourism and construction within the general regulations of Zhangye National Geopark. Through investigation and exchange, the delegation conscientiously studied and learned from the advanced work experience of the Zhangye Global Geopark: first, to strengthen the protection of geological relics to prevent the theft and sale of dinosaur eggs and the destruction of geological relics; second, to increase the efforts of the project to inject strong impetus into the development of Funiushan Global Geopark and Nanyang Dinosaur Egg fossils National Nature Reserve.
