In order to welcome the 4th reevaluation work of Funiushan UGGp, from March 2 to March 4, the geopark bureau invited Professor Zhang Tianyi and Senior Engineer Cao Xiqiang from Henan Academy of Land and Resources Sciences to guide the work for the geopark.

During the five-day trip, experts visited four parks, namely Songxian, Luanchuan, Xixia and Neixiang, and made field visits to Baiyun Mountain, Laojun Mountain, Jiguandong, Laojieling, Dinosaur Park and Neixiang Local Magistrate’s Office.

They conducted comprehensive survey and guidance on the rectification of feedback in 2018, signs along the way, exhibition and so on, and made overall planning and adjustment on the inspection route for the reevaluation.

At the meeting held on March 4, the experts gave full recognition to the preparatory work of Funiushan Geopark. Fang Cheng (director, the Administration Bureau of Funiushan Geopark), said that the geopark bureau attaches great importance to it. Since last year, a lot of work has been done to prepare for the reevaluation. We will make continuous efforts to organize the four parks to do a good job in the reevaluation work of Funiushan Geopark.
