On February 18 (the seventh day of the first lunar month), at the beginning of the new year's work, Funiushan UNESCO Global Geopark Administration held the 2021 work symposium.

For the work in 2021, the heads of each department of Geopark Administration put forward new suggestions, and Director Fang Cheng made the following arrangements: (Ⅰ) We should make a breakthrough in popular science propaganda. We will organize some activities jointly with Geoparker, such as the compilation of popular science propaganda atlas, popular science into campus, live broadcast of popular science, popular science essay contest, etc., and we should seize the time to implement related work at the crossroads; Organize a high-quality seminar on dinosaur geological culture in cooperation with the Scientific Research Institute of Henan Provincial Department of Natural Resources, Geological Museum, Dinosaur Heritage Park, Dinosaur Tourism Industry Alliance and other units, inviting well-known experts at home and abroad and relevant domestic units or institutions to jointly discuss and study how to rationally protect, study, develop and utilize dinosaur geological relics at present; Strengthen the propaganda of TV promo Watcher of Funiushan UGGp; Expand the public influence of Funiushan UGGp through the 30-second advertisement every day in Nanyang Radio Station by combining with the important scenic spots in the peak season, and the protection of geological relics in the off season; Increase the collection, submission and update of important information on the park website and WeChat official account; Plan ahead and do a good job in the "4·22 World Earth Day" publicity activity; (Ⅱ) Further improve the level of park planning, construction and resource management. Issue the preliminary inspection plan for the mid-term evaluation in 2022 as soon as possible, in combination with the expert opinions of the mid-term evaluation in 2018, and opinions and suggestions from various parks; Strengthen the supervision of new key projects in the park, issue signing opinions and put forward reasonable suggestions in time, so as to standardize the construction management in the park gradually; Further implement the patrol system in the park and strengthen the construction of the supervision and patrol team, gradually equip with advanced patrol equipment and monitoring instruments, and put all patrol systems into practice.

At the meeting, Fang Cheng pointed out that 2021 will be the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the realization of "rural revitalization", and also the centenary of the establishment of the Communist Party of China (CPC). In the new year, I hope that everyone will give full play to subjective initiative, exert self-pressure, open up a new situation in work, and implement the key work in 2021, for the sake of improving the management capacity of the geopark to a new level.
