From March 10th to 13th, Nanyang Funiushan UGGp Administration cooperated with the Geosciences Popularization Center of Geoparker Company to launch science popularization activities. According to the activity plan formulated in advance, they connected with schools in cooperation of publicity activities and the principals of Neixiang County and Xixia parks, laying a foundation for the later stage of a series of science popularization activities.

On the 10th, Funiushan UGGp Administration organized a cooperation symposium on science popularization activities, which was attended by Fang Cheng, director of the Management Committee, the head of the publicity and education department and the team of Geosciences Popularization Center of Geoparker. At the meeting, taking the upcoming “4.22 World Earth Day” as an opportunity and regarding the geological, ecological, historical, tourism and other elements of  Funiushan UGGp as the carrier, the two sides proceeded communication on the construction status and development of the Geopark, and made an in-depth discussion on the mode and direction of science knowledge popularization in the future, as well as the location selection of science popularization activities. Fang Cheng stressed that great efforts should be channeled to grasp the development trend of nature reserves, make full use of the technical team operated by the Internet, keep pace with relevant technology and services of science popularization, scientifically make plans of science popularization activities, and comprehensively publicize Funiushan UGGp to the public in various forms, so as to realize the sustainable development of science popularization education of Funiushan UGGp. 

After the meeting, relative responsible comrades of Management Committee of Funiushan UGGp together with Geoparker team went to schools like the 15^th Primary School, Nanyang No. 1 Middle School, Laojieling, Xixia Dinosaur Relics Park, Baotianman and Neixiang County Government for on-the-spot investigation. They had a deep understanding of Funiushan UGGp about its natural education, ecotourism, infrastructure at publicity site etc. Meanwhile, their collections of relevant data on geological and biological relics enabled them to prepare for the follow-up series of activities.
