April 22^nd, 2021 marked the 52^nd World Earth Day with the theme of “Cherish the Earth and harmonious co-existence between nature and mankind. Dedicated to world environmental protection, World Earth Day aims to raise people’s awareness of existing environmental problems, mobilize people to participate in environmental protection campaigns and improve the overall environment of the earth through green and low-carbon life.

During the campaign, Neixiang Forestry Administration organized and carried out rich and varied publicity activities of World Earth Day. Presented in forms of booths, panels, color pages and popular science readings, the campaign introduced the basic situation of Funiushan UGGp to the general public. Besides, it explained the importance of ecological environment protection, laws and regulations related to resource management in the reserve, prevention and control of geological disasters, protection of geological relics and geological tourism, created an intense publicity atmosphere.

The launch of the World Earth Day publicity campaign has enabled the mass to further improve their awareness of the protection of the ecological environment and geological relics, have a deeper understanding of the value of multi-functional benefits of geoparks, and have a better understanding of the significance of cherishing resources, protecting the environment and building a wild China and beautiful earth. People expressed their strong will to behave from trivial things around them, enhance the awareness of conservation and environmental protection, advocate low-carbon life, take care of our earth, and actively participate in the action of protecting the ecological environment and non-renewable geological resources.
