On November 3, Funiushan Global Geopark signed a friendly cooperation agreement with Taishan Global Geopark, formally establishing a friendly sister park relationship. This is also the 18th cooperation partner of Funiushan Global Geopark after 17 global geoparks such as Dunhuang, Zhangye, Alashan and Zhongnan Mountain of the Qinling Mountains.

The establishment of sister parks is the inherent requirement of global geoparks, and it is also the need to promote each other and expand its popularity at home and abroad, which is of great significance to jointly promote the scientific and sustainable development of geoparks. The conclusion of the sister park relationship between the two sides is a great opportunity for the collision and exchange of different management thinking between the two sides, a strong combination of the unique resource advantages and advanced management experience of the two sides, and has far-reaching significance in promoting the sustainable development of geological tourism and the popularization of geological heritage of the two sides.
