On May 12th, the fourth phase of the online popular science lecture on Nanyang Nature Reserve in Henan Province, jointly organized by Funiushan Global Geopark and Wuhan Geo-Travel Information Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held at 15:00 pm.

The online popular science lecture was broadcast live on Tik Tok, Weibo, Wechat and other platforms. The live broadcast lasted one and a half hours, with a total of 2.50,000 viewers watching online, and more than 4,000 viewers watching online at the same time. It received nearly 5,500 comments and 150,000 likes, triggering heated discussions and unanimous praise from the audience.

The theme of this lecture is "The Gaze of the Cretaceous". We specially invite Jian Dandan, a science popularization instructor at the Foot crawler Nature Science Popularization Center and an outstanding science popularization volunteer at Funiushan Global Geopark, to give an online science popularization explanation. Teacher Jane combined with the analysis of geological history and related fossils to "how did dinosaurs become extinct?" From a scientific point of view, this problem vividly explains several mainstream conjectures about the extinction of dinosaurs and their theoretical basis. In the second half of the live broadcast, Mr. Jian Dandan, with her old partner, Mr. Tyrannosaurus Rex, and the audience friends in the studio approached the Xixia Dinosaur relic Park and introduced in detail one of the characteristic pavilions in the park: the original site pavilion of dinosaur eggs.
