April 22, 2023, Funiushan Global Geopark Administration jointly with Nanyang Forestry Bureau, Xixia County people's Government, Xixia County Dinosaur Egg Administration, Xixia County Forestry Bureau, Danshui Town people's Government, Xixia Dinosaur relic Park officially launched a week-long World Earth Day theme publicity campaign in Xixia Dinosaur relic Park.

The theme of this year's Earth Day isEarth for All. In order to arouse the awareness of human beings to love the earth and protect their homes, promote the coordinated development of resource development and environmental protection, and then improve the overall environment of the earth.

Starting from April 22, the city and county management departments officially launched a series of activities for a week, launching the recruitment of popular science lecturers on the Nanyang nature conservation ground line in 2023. Rich online training to create a volunteer lecturer of science popularization in Nanyang Nature Reserve. From the perspective of Dinosaur Egg fossils National Nature Reserve and UNESCO Funiu Mountain World Geopark, this paper re-understands the geological, biological, humanistic and historical stories of Funiu Mountain in Nanyang. There is a prize for online knowledge, from which you can learn more about world geoparks and nature reserves, become a science expert who shows Nanyang to the world. Activities such as checking in at major global geoparks in China and popularizing science on campus have begun. The Xixia County Dinosaur Egg Fossil Group National Nature Reserve Administration invited Director Cao Xiqiang from the Natural Resources Survey and Evaluation Institute of the Henan Provincial Land and Spatial Survey and Planning Institute as a keynote speaker. Funiushan Global Geopark visited Heming Primary School, bringing popular geoscience knowledge to primary school students, expanding their scientific horizons, and further improving their environmental awareness.

Nanyang Funiu Mountain Geopark has always placed a prominent position on protecting ecological resources and promoting the development of ecological green civilization.
